1.1 Core Books

The following books are considered in-game:

1.2 Rules for Introducing New Books

A player is limited to the source material by level using the following table. At the first level, a player may introduce a base class not contained in the above-listed books (a class containing 20 levels) or a new piece of non-core material. At each level after the first, a player may introduce a new piece of non-core material. On the 5th, 10th, and 15th levels, the DM can introduce an entire sourcebook for the player or party. It is to be noted that all material introduced by any player can be used by the DM. One flaw may be taken in exchange for an additional feat. All player races in the Core are allowed; any others would be run past the DM first. Characters begin play at level 1 with the starting gold as given in the Core. Or use 3 slots to add an entire reference.

1.4.1 Stat Rolls

Player stats are to be rolled up using one of the following systems:

1.4.2 Races and Sources

Racial options are limited to the base books stated in section 1.1 or books brought in by the player per section 1.2. Players are to restrict race selection to races with no higher than a +20 Race Points per the Advanced Race Guide.

1.4.3 Classes and Sources

Class options are limited to the base books stated in section 1.1 or books brought in by the player per section 1.2. Prestige classes must be introduced per section 1.2 and require DM approval 2 game sessions before introduction so the DM can work on an introduction of the material into the game.

Example: To become a member of the Knight of the Flaming Blade, they must first exist!
