4. Coinage
4.1 Mithral Bullion — Imperial Currency
Some countries have evolved beyond paying for goods and services in chests of gold and gems. The Empire of the Ruby Crown is one such nation. The empire started minting its money after the loss of most of its material assets from The War of the Breach. To fill the vacuum created by the depletion of common materials like Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, they created a new currency.

Crafting & Counterfeiting DCs
All coins are considered masterwork craftsmanship and require the following checks to create legitimately:
- DC 25 Blacksmith check AND DC 25 Engraving check to produce a coin.
To counterfeit:
- Merchant or House mark: Spellcraft DC 35 and Linguistics DC 35.
- Imperial mark: Spellcraft DC 40 and Linguistics DC 40 for each mark.
- Court Wizard's mark: Spellcraft DC 35 and Linguistics DC 45.
- King's seal: DC 45 Engraving.
